Doctor of Social Work (DSW)

The mission of the Doctor of Social Work (DSW) Program at Delaware State University is to prepare experienced, advanced practice social workers for career advancement in areas of leadership, teaching, and research. We prepare graduates that use their knowledge as agents of change to seek justice in an imperfect world.

Minimum Admission Requirements

GPA: 3.0 minimum

Standardized testing requirement: GRE

English Proficiency Testing: English proficiency testing is required for 1. people whose undergraduate education was not in the US and 2. people from non-English speaking countries, and 3. non-English speakers generally. However, if a student did their undergraduate education in the U.S., then they do not need to submit a TOEFL.

Level of education attainment required: Masters (CSWE accredited program)
