Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership

The EdD in Educational Leadership in Higher Education is an accelerated program designed for professionals in faculty, student affairs, academic administration, and other education-adjacent roles. Delivered through weekend cohorts and synchronous online instruction, this program emphasizes equity, ethics, and social justice as part of the Carnegie Project for the Education Doctorate (CPED). Graduates will gain the skills necessary for effective organizational leadership, policy development, and social justice advocacy in higher education, preparing them to navigate the complex, diverse environments of post-secondary institutions.

Minimum Admission Requirements

GPA: 2.0 minimum

Standardized testing requirement: GRE

English Proficiency Testing: English proficiency testing is required for 1. people whose undergraduate education was not in the US and 2. people from non-English speaking countries, and 3. non-English speakers generally. However, if a student did their undergraduate education in the U.S., then they do not need to submit a TOEFL.
