Bachelor of Science in Social Work

Delaware State University’s MSW program, accredited by CSWE and nationally ranked by US News and World Report, focuses on advanced generalist practice. Students are prepared to engage with individuals, families, and communities, addressing global social issues such as poverty, health disparities, and oppression. GPA: 2.0 minimum

Standardized testing requirement: Test optional. SAT/ACT required for merit-based scholarships; minimum SAT of 800 or ACT of 17 is automatic acceptance

English Proficiency Testing: English proficiency testing is required for 1. people whose undergraduate education was not in the US and 2. people from non-English speaking countries, and 3. non-English speakers generally. However, if a student did their undergraduate education in the U.S., then they do not need to submit a TOEFL.
