Bachelor of Science in Accounting
In Delaware State University’s accounting program, students learn to think strategically and perform complex analysis of real-world business problems. Through a combination of classroom lecture and hands-on experience, students develop the professional skills and knowledge to succeed in this profession, while obtaining a foundation to pursue credentials, such as:
• certified public accountant (CPA)
• certified management accountant (CMA)
• certified internal auditor (CIA)
Minimum Admission Requirements
GPA: 2.0 minimum
Standardized testing requirement: Test optional. SAT/ACT required for merit-based scholarships; minimum SAT of 800 or ACT of 17 is automatic acceptance
English Proficiency Testing: English proficiency testing is required for 1. people whose undergraduate education was not in the US and 2. people from non-English speaking countries, and 3. non-English speakers generally. However, if a student did their undergraduate education in the U.S., then they do not need to submit a TOEFL.
