Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner option provides a solid foundation to incorporate therapeutic modalities in the practice setting; Emphasizes the provision of holistic, evidence-based care to clients with mental illness across the lifespan; Integrates primary prevention, health promotion, disease management, and therapeutic interventions for managing psychiatric mental health disorders; and emphasizes health disparities, Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), Healthy People 2030, diversity, and equity of the client in provision of care.
